Can a fertility diet actually improve or increase your chances of getting pregnant? Short answer: Yes. I want to talk about that today. I want to chat about foods that increase fertility and can help you get pregnant faster!
Foods that Increase Fertility
- Chia Seeds
Now let’s get into some foods that can increase your fertility. The first food I want to discuss is chia seeds. Mmmmm! Yes, I said mmm.
There are so many ways you can incorporate chia seeds into your diet:
- Overnight Oats
- Chia Pudding
They have omega 3’s which are wonderful for fertility because they assist with healthy ovulation and also naturally increasing progesterone in the two week wait so that baby can implant snuggly int your womb. We know that is ESSENTIAL to getting pregnant.
The next food, Avocado. I actually LOVE Avocado. I probably ate one avocado everyday before my BFP. In the process of Avocados bearing fruit from its tree it cant do that without another avocado tree next to it.
That just speaks to the whole fertility community. We need spouses, we need sperm in order to conceive right? It needs another tree in order to bear fruit, so do we. We need another tree, aka a man, to bear fruit.

I just love the Avocado tree for that aspect alone. Avocados are healthy fats, those good fats! They have vitamin E and help to improve the lining of your uterus which is also important for the implantation of a baby.
Eat some avocado. Have a taco everyday. Guacamole. All of it!
Next up, is a fertility food that I also ate quite often before my BFP. I would have avocado toast with egg on it. So eggs! You might know this but eggs have folate, vitamins and protein. Eggs are great for fertility!
Turmeric. Ahhh, turmeric. You can add it to anything. It doesn’t really have a strong taste (to me). But you can add it to different recipes.
It’s a great anti-inflammatory and it will help, once again, with your uterine lining to decrease inflammation in your body in order to help your body have a safe environment for the baby to grow.
Those are just a few fertility foods that can help increase your fertility. Sis, I’m telling you, add these to different recipes into your diet!
