What Are the Workouts Like?
The Job 1 workout program is a combination of high-intensity interval training, strength training, endurance cardio, and cardio workouts with resistance loops. The Job 1 workouts also include focusing on the upper body and lower body for strength training and ultimate fat burn.

Here’s What the Job 1 Workout Calendar Looks Like
Job 1 is currently available on Beachbody on Demand for anyone with a subscription and includes a calendar of four weeks of workouts, 20 minutes a day, 5 days a week. There are three strength training days and two cardio days.
Job 1 also adds additional overtime bonus workouts and a stationary bike. You have the option to substitute the two cardio days with cycling workouts instead.

Is Job 1 for Beginners?
Job 1 is marketed as a program for all levels, however, complete beginners may struggle to keep up. This program does not include a specific modifier for modified moves like other Beachbody programs.
The lack of modified moves could discourage some beginners from starting or continuing the program.


Types of Workouts in Job 1
Cycling Workouts
There are optional cycling workouts that are also 20 minutes in length. You can also complete the hybrid cycling workouts if you’d like to incorporate even more cardio workouts into your schedule.
Certified Indoor Cycling Instructor
The creator of Job 1, Jennifer Jacobs, is also a certified cycling instructor through the Athletics and Fitness Association of America. She was a top Peloton instructor before transitioning to the Beachbody, now Bodi, platform.
Equipment Needed for Beachbody’s Job 1
Dumbbells
For the Job 1 program, you’ll need a set of light, medium, and heavy dumbbells for the strength workouts. If you don’t already have dumbbells at home, I personally prefer these adjustable weights for easy storage in my home gym (the living room).
Resistance Loops
When you purchase access to a Total Solution Pack for Job 1, you’ll also receive three resistance loops. These are great for developing strength and challenging your body in different ways.
Plus, they don’t take up much space when it’s time to store them away!
Optional: Cycling Bike
For the Job 1 cycling bonus workouts, you’ll need a spin bike. It’s the first Beachbody program to implement these optional spinning workouts as the company recently released this bike to add to its many products and equipment options.
